Well hello, Florida Seagulls. It's been a slower year here, but I know you're out there and you know I'm out there. Our local scene keeps on with one location change after the other doesn't it? i haven't seen comparison photos for the OP, but it doesn't have the same back bunching issues and seems to be a safer bet than the JSK. there's some unboxing videos on youtube that might be a helpful watch.

For example, there are special annual or bi-annual "dirt cheap" events for people to sell their used kimono and household goods depending on time of year and city.

"Boystyle" is shorthand for "boystyle lolita" and refers to the masculine counterparts of Japanese lolita and, often, aristocrat fashions. There is a lot of overlap between these styles, and different people use different terms to describe them. We usually just use "ouji" here.

Why are Canada's conventions so bad?
The biggest one (Anime North) is hardly relevant and only has washed up VAs, random indie vtubers, or just straight up completely unknown people as their guests. The vendors are mostly just people reselling cheap stuff from taobao or stolen prints. It feels so shittily put together that I think I'll just not buy a ticket and instead stroll around outside taking pictures of cool cosplays. Maybe I'm just pessimistic, but the grass always seems greener on the other side. On a side note, if anybody's into Project Moon stuff, please hit me up, I... I wanna make friends.

Quoted By:
>>10904283 What do people even talk to VAs about? I'm too awkward.
Isn't the point of vtubers hiding your face because you're too ugly/male?
What's the obsession with vendor halls? It's all shit you can buy online instead of wasting time in a packed smelly room.
