uh oh, looks like I've been on a "beginner distro" for 4 years. whoops. (I'm still not changing).

Is a modern smartphone that has little to no data harvesting out of the box, WITHOUT needing to void your warranty by installing a custom ROM, too much to ask for in 2020+4?

So what if instead of using ARM cpu's for desktop computers, why not just have desktop computers use PowerPC, they are both RISC based cpu's, so in releasing and porting software from both platforms shouldn't that hard.

When the dot com crash happened in the early 2000s, CS enrollment fell off a cliff, but this time it just keeps growing. Is it just delusion at this point?
