So, two persons yesterday griefed our friend server. We were running offline mode cause one of us is a student and has no money, they entered and spent two hours canceling each and every build we did in months, between shifts and stuff. They left some signs deriding us for no protection.

Now, recovery time was about 10 seconds, given we had regular backups (I knew this was coming and while too lazy to set up auth I am not a moron), so we already have the satisfaction that they lost time. I am a bit sad about how much we as a species misuse the instruments we have, so yeah.

Today they retried it, and bounced on the now setted up authentication + whitelist. I noticed however that their IP is the same of yesterday. I was gonna ignore it, but just to troll I set up a fake server with a copy of the world. Hours after, they griefed it AGAIN, with even more signs. And the IP are always the same, so I doubt they are using a vpn.

I was wondering: can i make something aside general location with those IP? I do not have the time to teach kids how the world works, but it ticks me how they go back and back even after protection is set up.
