In my country, lot of companies have this practice of gaslighting people they're about to get rid off not by firing or layoffing, but pretending that the worker need to hand their own resignation letter. This way, the company doesn't have to pay anything to the worker on their way out, including his latest salary.

Why are so many people still getting CS degrees when the tech industry is pretty much dead and you have an almost zero percent chance of ever getting a job now? When the dot com crash happened in the early 2000s, CS enrollment fell off a cliff, but this time it just keeps growing. Is it just delusion at this point?

Why is the image size limitations on 4chan so arbitrarily low? Why hasn't the size cap changed over time to reflect the improvements in Internet speed and cost for storage that make larger images less impactful?
