>We have heard from multiple people in multiple unrelated contexts that they are hoping for a hard fork of the entire community over the continued inaction on the toxic culture in the Nix project.

ChatGPT can't even write the assembly needed to boot into operating systems. Why are zoomers so retarded?

So finally got around to trying out Linux Mint after being on windows my whole life and um... wow. Linux is faster on my 300$ laptop than windows 11 is on my 1000$ Desktop. Think about that for a minute. The literal only thing "wrong" that I can find with linux is user error, (as in I don't know how to work most of these open source softwares). To say windows is bloatware is actually an understatement. The ONLY thing going to for Windows is a large userbase. How ironic.

I'm feeling really nostalgic for this nugget.

The "grassroots paradox"

No.100167181 View ViewReplyOriginalReport
states that if something charming and grassroots gets too big, it will always eventually become corporate and soulless. Pic related. So (for example) Linux can't ever actually get popular without it getting worse. Oh the irony.
