>>100333206if you are too lazy or poor for textbooks, 3blue1brown has some high quality videos going over the basics, and there are numerous other lectures and videos by others. The basics are not really complicated and you don't need thousands of hours of studying to get it, even if it seems intimidating going in.
I can't share what I learned from because it's all insanely out of date now or no longer on the internet. I think you can still find all of Hinton's lectures on his course which I found fantastic.
Also neither here nor there, but everyone told me to learn R back then. Even though it has zero relevance to modern AI stuff, it turned out to be super useful and well worth it. While spending a bunch of time reading papers on stuff I couldn't use, that didn't replicate, or quickly became obsolete was mostly a waste.
