We're seeing grifters and techbros or general enthusiasts fiddle around with tech I'm not sure they fully understand, and gobble up millions in funding for projects with no dividends because the tech is essentially not well understood or far too raw for any real application.
In time, maybe 5-10 years, we'll see some businesses crop up that make use of AI in a certain way that generates good profits without much fuss. The internet bubble followed a similar path, with the dotcom bubble first and the more legitimate sites down the line
