https://git.kernel.org/pub/scm/linux/kernel/git/torvalds/linux.git/commit/?id=9e87705289667a6c5185c619ea32f3d39314eb1bLinux Towards gave in, after almost 3 years of constant nagging-nigging and "discussions" between the developer and the fuckyounoVideoman. Bcachefs, which is, apparently, supposedly, a much better optimized and much more QoL alternative to ZFS and Btrfs and Ext, is going to be officially fully supported in and included to Linux kernel, starting from 6.7, so it's all ogre.
Bcachefs is, apparently, better than ZFS + Btrfs + Ext all combined altogether, so this is either going to kill off all other third-party file systems on Linux and other Unix-likes in the long run, or it'll force ZFS, Btrfs and Ext to finally evolve and improve significantly by pulling their devs' heads out of their own smelling-on-their-own-farts elitist entitles asses. Basically, a win-win situation either way (if just one file system remains in the long run, bcachefs that is, it's less bloat and more stability, and if ZFS and Btrfs and Ext still be around, at the very least they'll be pressed and forced into improving).
P.S.
ReiserFS was already killed off and removed from the Linux kernel due to being murdered via deprecation and buried in the backyard of Hans' house, so don't bother.
P.S.
"BcacheFS" reads/pronounced as "BakaChefs" or "Baka Chefs", NOT as "B cache FS".
