So the main issues are with EXO but let's be real SM have been mismanaging EXO since pretty much the beginning. EXO-M was sort of a disaster once the traitors left and Kai was impossible to really integrate after Monster. SM botched handling CBX way before LSM was pushed out and Kakao got involved.
